Standing atop of Chicago's fabulous Magnificent Mile,
the Millennium Knickerbocker Hotel proclaims the best location for
business or leisure. The Knickerbocker is a deluxe hotel located 30
minutes from either O'Hare or Midway Airports. It is perfectly situated
for shopping on North Michigan Avenue and the exclusive Oak Street
boutiques or for conducting important business in the Loop. The Millennium
Knickerbocker, built in 1927 and part of the Historic Hotels of America,
has just completed a $35 million renovation of the hotel and offers
guest rooms mixing traditional elegance with Asian influences. The
Knickerbocker offers dining at an onsite restaurant, as well as a
martini bar. The hotel also includes an Executive fitness room with
treadmills, life cycles, and free weights.
All 305 rooms have been decorated with a completely new traditional
dÈcor in floral and neutral patterns and stripes, with such features
as chinoiseries armoires, walk-in marble showers, new baths, and canopied
beds. Amenities in the room include a bathrobe, iron and board, hair
dryer, a Guest Choice television system that offers the choice of
viewing over 75 movies, and a full service refreshment center. Also
included are cordless dual-line telephones with dataport and voice
mail service. Hotel guests have the option of using Video Checkout
services via the television system in the room. Guests also enjoy
a complimentary daily newspaper, and a complimentary shoeshine. The
Millennium Knickerbocker is only a step away from fine dining shopping
and entertainment venues.
